What is an information diet?
An information diet involves the deliberate and selective intake of information to enhance mental health, focus, productivity, and overall well-being. Much like a food diet regulates what and how much you eat, an information diet helps you manage the type and volume of information you absorb each day.
Why not use social media for your information diet?
Try it for yourself and you will find these four main issues:
- Most of histories greatest minds do not have a social media presence.
- Most importantly, on social media you cannot consume a particular individual without consuming another 10 mind-numbing posts that you did not wish to see (hate, disinformation, negative news, porn and much more).
- Even those that do have a social media presence are not maximizing impact on individuals due to the lack of interactive learning in the media formats.
- There is nothing pushing you to consume even when you don’t feel like it.
How will you consume in the Infodiet app?
On the app, the consumption format’s only goal is to allow the content to have as much impact on your mind as possible. Each day you will be provided a powerful quote from all of your chosen individuals, attached with interactive lessons from their actual life events. Over time, you will start to mimic the actions and attitudes.
That is the main page of the app, but there are also sections for networking with other users interested in similar inner circles to you. There will also be an explore page where you can consume even more positive wisdom from your chosen individuals, whether this be more quotes, interactive lessons, videos, specific news, community posts.
